Big Spoon Bakery
St. Louis bakery serving baked goods with a modern Asian twist.
Baking is my love language. I've always loved baking unique desserts and giving it to friends and seeing their faces light up. When I got to St. Louis, I realized there was a lack of baked goods that featured Asian flavors, so I began experimenting and incorporating Asian flavors into my baking. WIth my friends' support, I've decided to start a baking business, which I will be launching in 2023. To prepare for the launch, I've designed the logo, packaging, and social media posts, which are featured below.
Packaging Design
Throughout the package design, I wanted the company to have a modern and elegant feel. From the minimalist logo to the quick-sketch & bold lettering design to the quirky phrases, I wanted the customers to feel cared for every step of the way: to feel like they are receiving a high quality dessert made with high quality ingredients in high quality packaging.

For the Instagram design, I wanted to have 5 different "types of posts" to engage the customer:

Educate: to teach people about the ingredients (i.e. matcha and its history, health benefits, etc.)

Entertain: to create posts that make people smile and think "I want to share this with a friend"

Inspire: to inspire customers to relax and treat themselves to a dessert

Inform: to let customers know next week's flavors

Convert: to get people to follow the Instagram and go to the website to order
